How often should my tank be pumped?
For residential tanks, it all depends on the size of the tank, the number of individuals in the household, and how often the system is used. For commercial use tanks, they may need to be pumped more oftern due to the amount of use. The usual maintenance timeframe for a 1,000 gallon residential septic tank in normal working order is around 3 to 4 years for a family of 4.
